Mother's Day

Today has been such a good day. Hard to believe I'm a momma now and I always will be! Being a mom is the most amazing thing in the world. I'm so thankful for Caleb and can't imagine life without him! He was so thoughtful and got me three hanging flower baskets for the back deck and then two rose bushes :)

So right now we are in the middle of remodeling our kitchen. It's been about two weeks now and we are so excited to see what the finished product will look like! We moved things around to have more space in the kitchen and to open it up to the rest of our living space. We are building some new cabinets but not completely replacing all of them.. we are just going to replace the cabinet doors and drawers. Then we got a dishwasher (we didn't have one before.. I'm so excited to have one!), a new oven, a new sink and faucet, and new counter tops/backsplash. It's looking so great.. I'll post pictures when it's done.

Two of my very best friends, Blair and Stephanie, are coming to visit us on Memorial Day weekend. I'm so excited for us all to be together again and for them to meet Caleb and see our first home and where we live. It's going to be so great! We are also planning on coming to Texas the second weekend of June. We can't wait for everyone else to meet Caleb! It will be so much fun!
