Update

I've been bad about updating this.

We are all doing really well. We've been really busy having fun :) We are headed to Dallas, Texas on Thursday for one of my best friend's wedding! It's going to be so much fun and I'm so excited to get to spend some time with friends from college. I made some of the greatest friends in college and I have missed them terribly! My parents are coming up to watch Caleb for us from Friday night-Sunday morning. This will be my first time to be away from Caleb like that and I'm nervous but I must admit that I am VERY excited. I am obsessed with my little boy but I am looking forward to a break and just spending time with my husband and friends.

I'm still waiting for more pictures from Caleb's 1st Birthday but I will add a few that I have, then a sneak peek of his year pictures, and then just a few random ones. Get ready, cause these are adorable..

Brittany was on vacation in San Diego so we went to see her for the day! It was so great to see her and catch up. Caleb loved  her a lot! 

oops these are out of order :) Caleb is the happiest baby on earth but somehow we captured him sobbing next to his easter basket two years in a row hahah.

This is a dog that hangs out where I go to get waxed. She is so sweet with Caleb. They sat like that for a really long time, I had to get a picture!

Caleb's First Birthday

Caleb is 1! 

(I know I'm a little late on this post, but I've been really busy lately.)

I can't believe how quickly this past year has flown. It's so crazy to think that a year ago, I was holding my tiny little baby with so much joy and love. I didn't think I could EVER love him more than I did at that moment. I was so wrong. It's crazy how much more I love him today than I did a year ago.

On Caleb's birthday we went to the mexican restaurant in our town with family. He was serenaded by the waiters and ate almost an entire piece of cheese cake! Then for his birthday party, we had a huge bash at our house. HUGE. I walked into birthday planning very naively and didn't think it would end up so crazy (there were 20 kids there, 9 being babies 1 and under) Despite the craziness, it was really fun.We are so blessed with great friends and family. Caleb's dessert of choice was a cupcake. Caleb won't put ANYTHING into his mouth, which is really nice not worrying about him choking etc. BUT this includes food. Oh, and he eats all day long. Our second won't be able to get away with this haha. Anyways, so I put the cupcake up to his mouth to see if he would take a bite and he just started sucking on it haha. He's so cute. He had a really great birthday :)

I had Caleb's great Aunt Twila take pictures at the party, so as soon as I get those, I'll share all of the pictures!

I think Caleb probably weighs about the same (22 lbs). He hasn't really grown much and is still in the same size clothes he's been wearing since he was 6 months. I have his doctor's appointment soon so I'll update that when I know.

He's not really doing any new tricks these days. Just crawling around fast like a pro, talking up a storm (dada is a favorite word), and laughing and smiling all of the time. He's so much fun.

I am 24 today.

Today has been a fun day with my sweet boy. 

Hanging out with him is the best birthday present I could ask for. 

We went to the park before lunch/his nap time. 

It's such a pretty day. I think when he wakes up we will go find something else to do outside.

3 Months Old!

Our little family has been so busy this past month! We've had so many family birthdays and lots of fun summery things to do! It's been really fun but it's made time go by even faster than it already is. I can't believe that Caleb will already be 3 months old tomorrow! I am loving watching him grow and seeing little bits of his personality come out as he develops. He is a sweet, sweet baby.

This month has been full of firsts for Caleb. He took his first swim in the pool with me, took his first plane trip to Texas to visit his Gram and Pops (he did so good on the plane), met a lot of new people (my grandma, aunts, uncles, most of my cousins, my very best friend Lydia, and a few other close family friends), had his first visit to Jackson lake (where Jordan caught his first fish), had his first summer trip to the country club in Wrightwood and celebrated his first Father's Day with his daddy. He's been more and more smiley and his whole face lights up whenever he flashes a big smile at us. He's started to really understand who Jordan and I are and loves to have us near him as much as possible. He also slept through the night for the first time this month and has started to stay in his bassinet during the entire night. We are so thankful for such a sweet and precious baby, he has been such a joy in our lives.

We are going to Texas again on Saturday to spend a week and the 4th of July at Jordan's family's lake house at Possum Kingdom. We are so excited! It's been a year since we've been out there and it's such a pretty place and so relaxing!
